Austin Poulter started their career as an intern software developer at Flying J in 2008. In this role, they developed and maintained Oracle PL/SQL database processes, Crystal Reports, and Java EE web applications. Austin also assisted business users with problem resolution and participated in process design meetings. Austin then joined Progrexion in 2010 as a software engineer, where they developed and maintained applications using Java, specifically a Java Swing client with a Java EE backend deployed on Glassfish. Austin utilized technologies such as Hibernate and EJB 3.
In 2013, Austin Poulter transitioned to Western Governors University as a software engineer. Austin held this position until 2017, where they were responsible for software development. Austin then joined Pluralsight in 2017 as a software engineer and worked there until 2021. At Pluralsight, they focused on software development using various technologies.
In 2021, Austin Poulter joined Podium as a software engineer and worked there until 2023. Austin contributed to software development projects before moving on to their current role as a software engineer at Torus in 2023.
