Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd. is engaged in the manufacture and sale of industrial machinery and equipment. It operates in four business segments. Molding Machine segment manufactures and sells injection molding machines, twin-screw compounders, die-casting machines, as well as the sale of repair parts and the provision of installment, repair and maintenance services. Machine Tool segment is engaged in the manufacture, sale, installment, repair and maintenance of machine tools, as well as the sale of repair parts. Hydraulic Equipment segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of hydraulic motors, pumps and valves. Others segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of robots and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment, as well as the sale of measuring devices. As of March 31, 2013, the Company had 22 subsidiaries and two associated companies. As of March 31, 2014, the Company had 23 subsidiaries, two associated companies and one affiliated company.
