Kartik Iyer

Vice President- Supply Chain, Customer Fulfilment, Logistics, Warehousing at TotalEnergies

Kartik Iyer has a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. Kartik started their career at Mahindra & Mahindra as a Deputy Manager from July 2007 to September 2011. Kartik then joined A.P. Moller - Maersk and held various roles such as Global Assistant Category Manager, Global Category Manager, and Global Category Manager & Team Lead - Category Management from September 2011 to December 2014.

From January 2015 to April 2017, Kartik worked as a Manager - Global Category Management at A.P. Moller - Maersk, where they were responsible for end-to-end functions in global procurement for Capex & Opex categories. Kartik also played a key role in establishing the category management outfit in Mumbai.

Kartik then took on the role of Global Head of T&L Synergies (Procurement) & PMO for Cost Drives at A.P. Moller - Maersk from May 2017 to September 2017. Kartik was responsible for transportation and logistics procurement synergies for APM Terminals, as well as identifying opportunities for joint sourcing projects within the Maersk group.

Kartik then served as Sr. Manager - Global Head of Indirect Procurement at APM Terminals from October 2017 to February 2018, where they headed the global Indirect Category Management function. Kartik'sresponsibilities included managing professional services, facility management, and IT procurement.

Most recently, Kartik Iyer joined TotalEnergies in September 2018 as Assistant Vice President, Head of Procurement. Kartik held this role until September 2021, when they were promoted to Vice President- Supply Chain, Customer Fulfilment, Logistics, Warehousing.

Kartik Iyer completed their education as follows:

- From 2000 to 2004, they pursued a Diploma in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical studies at Thakur Polytechnic - MSBTE.

- From 2004 to 2007, they attended MCT's Rajiv Gandhi Institute Of Technology and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- From 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Operations Management at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.

- In 2011, they enrolled in SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in General Management from 2011 to 2013.

- In 2013, they also completed a Diploma in International Procurement & Leadership under the Maersk International Procurement Program (MIPP), focusing on subjects like Procurement, Strategy Procurement Economics, Offshoring, and Procurement Leadership.
