Mark Rauscher

Mark Rauscher, MPA, AICP, currently serves as the Assistant Town Manager for the Town of Sunnyvale, Texas, since April 2023. Prior to this role, Rauscher was the Assistant Director of the Fire Department in the City of Fort Worth from August 2016 to April 2023, and the Assistant Public Works Director/Interagency Transportation Administrator for the City of Dallas from November 2014 to August 2016. Rauscher has extensive experience in municipal management, having held multiple positions in the City of Fort Worth, including Senior Assistant to the City Manager, Transportation Manager, and Senior Transportation Planner between January 2004 and November 2014. Earlier career roles include positions with Dallas Area Rapid Transit and the North Central Texas Council of Governments. Rauscher holds a Master's in Public Administration from the University of North Texas, a Master's in Geographic Information Systems from Texas State University, and a Bachelor's in Geography & Math from Texas Tech University.
