Fred Schwanke

Fred Schwanke currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Towson University since January 2019. Previously, Fred held the position of Director of Finance and Operations at Congressional School from September 2016 to June 2018, where responsibilities included management and financial planning to support the educational mission of the school. Fred's extensive experience in the finance sector includes serving as a Valuation Analysis Manager at Fannie Mae from October 2004 to July 2016, leading a team to analyze and deliver valuations of mortgage-backed securities and other financial instruments. Prior to these roles, Fred taught French at Kent Place School and was a department head at Gilman School, where Fred developed a notable foreign exchange program in France. Fred earned an MBA in Finance from Emory University's Goizueta Business School and a BA in French, Spanish, and Secondary Education from Towson University.
