Kaylene Stocking

Kaylene Stocking is a Research Assistant Professor at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago since September 2025. Previously, Kaylene completed a PhD at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2019 to August 2025 and gained experience as a Research Intern at Wayve and as a Research Scholar with the SRC Research Scholars Program. Additional roles include Software Engineering Intern at Microsoft, Research Assistant in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh, and various internships at prestigious institutions like Carnegie Mellon University and the Institute for Integrated Cell-Material Sciences in Japan. Kaylene holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, with a focus on Computer Engineering and Bioengineering, and completed high school at Woodinville High School. Research efforts concentrate on neural stimulation methods for advancing brain-computer interfaces.
