Alexis Calvas has a diverse work experience in various prestigious institutions. In 2019, they worked at King's College London as a Ph.D. Scholar and also served as the Representative Faculty for the School of Social Science and Public Policy. Their role at King's College London lasted until September 2020. Concurrently, in the same year, they began working as a Professor at the University of the Arts London, a position which they held until June 2021. In 2020, Alexis Calvas also worked as a Faculty Lecturer at the University of the Underground from May to November. More recently, in January 2022, they joined Tracy Anderson Method as the Head of Research, where they are currently employed.

Alexis Calvas has a strong academic background in the field of political science and government. They began their education journey in 2011 at Goldsmiths, University of London, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology and Politics. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2014, Alexis went on to obtain a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from the same institution, which they completed in 2016. Continuing their pursuit of knowledge in the field, Alexis then enrolled at King's College London in 2019 to pursue a Ph.D. in Political Science and Government, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
