Tradeshift was founded in 2009 by four individuals with experience in technology, consulting, and management. Previous experiences include working as a Manager, SOA and Integration at Avanade, an Analyst programmer at Accenture, the CEO at Baiwang Tradeshift (Suzhou) Software Ltd, and the Technical Director at PEPPOL.eu. The team also has a wide range of educational backgrounds, including Information Technology from IT-Universitetet i København, Music History, Literature, and Theory from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, and SGML (XML) and Groupware also from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.
