Supply chain payments, marketplaces, and apps provide Tradeshift has announced the appointment of Carrie Dolan as its New Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As CFO Dolan will be responsible for all financial related matters and report directly to Tradeshift Co-Founder & CEO Christian Lanng.
"As businesses assess what the future post-COVID might look like, it's bringing a lot of attention to Tradeshift and the services we provide to help digitize the relationships between buyers and sellers globally and deliver faster access to working capital," said Lanng. "Carrie's experience in helping disruptive businesses like ours scale effectively will be invaluable as we continue to manage growth responsibly and accelerate towards near-term profitability."
Dolan brings more than 20 years of senior financial experience to the team at Tradeshift. She most recently served as CFO at Metromile, a pay-per-mile car insurance startup, where she helped scale the company's financial operations and systems. Before that, Dolan also held the title of CFO at LendingClub, where she managed the company's 2014 IPO. She also perviously served in senior financial roles at Charles Schwab and Chevron.
Dolan received her MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and currently serves on the school's Board.
Commenting on taking the position at Tradeshift, Dolan noted, "Embedded finance is the next stage in the evolution of fintech.
