Simón Fuenzalida

Simón Fuenzalida, CFA, is the Head of Corporate Finance at Transelec, specializing in project finance and M&A for energy infrastructure. With over ten years of experience in corporate finance and asset management, Simón has focused on Latin American utilities, financial, real estate, and retail sectors. They have previously held roles at Santander as Vice President in Fixed Income Structuring and Debt Capital Markets, where they executed bond issues and developed financial models. Simón also served as Associate Director of Fixed Income Research at Moneda Patria Investments, providing investment recommendations and mentoring new analysts. They obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
