Theresa Ashford has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the infrastructure and project management industry. THERESA is currently working as a Project Director for Infrastructure at Transgrid since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at John Holland where they held multiple roles including Project Manager, Commercial Project Manager, and Senior Project Engineer. THERESA also gained experience at BAM Nuttall Ltd as a Project Manager and TBM Senior Project Engineer. Earlier in their career, they worked at Transfield Tunnelling as a TBM Project Engineer and at Balfour Beatty Rail / Gammon JV as a Rail Project Engineer. THERESA started their career as a Water Design Engineer at Severn Trent Water / Charles Haswell Partners.

Theresa Ashford earned their Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) degree, specializing in Civil Engineering, from Swansea University in 1991. THERESA then went on to obtain the CEng, MICE qualification from the Institution of Civil Engineers in the UK between 1991 and 1995.
