Dr. Chika Onwuekwe

Dr. Chika Onwuekwe, KC, ICD.D, is the Vice President, Legal, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Trican Well Service Ltd. They previously served in various legal roles, including General Counsel at PTW Energy Services Ltd. and Associate Counsel at Awa U. Kalu & Associates, where they engaged in litigation and corporate advisory work. Dr. Onwuekwe also held academic positions as a Professor of Law and Society at the University of Calgary and as an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at LBS Pan-African University. They are currently a Director at both the Canadian Public Accountability Board and ENMAX, while actively contributing as Chair of the Alberta Chapter of The BlackNorth Initiative.
