John Sandberg

John Sandberg is the current Corporate Partnerships manager at TRINE. John has held this position since 2016. Prior to that, they were an advisor at Almi Väst from February 2019 to March 2021.

John has also worked as a case worker and contact person for refugee youth at Individia AB from August 2015 to January 2016. John was also the head of Storage & Data Protection Services at Tieto from September 2011 to June 2015.

TRINE's vision is to eradicate energy poverty by financing solar energy projects in emerging countries by means of impact investing. John has been instrumental in launching partnerships with GP Batteries and UNDP, as well as facilitating the world's first ever UNDP SDG Impact Assessment in off-grid solar.

John Sandberg has a MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University, as well as a certification from StyrelseAkademien Västsverige in Rätt fokus i styrelsearbetet. John also has a certification from Svenskt Projektforum in IPMA Project Management Level D.
