Piotr Uryga (He/Him)

Piotr Uryga is a seasoned engineering leader with more than 20 years of experience driving innovation and building high-performing teams. As Vice President of Engineering at Viator, he leads the company’s engineering organization, delivering scalable, secure, and cutting-edge solutions that support Viator's growth and strategic vision.

Piotr holds a degree in Computer Science from AGH University of Krakow and began his career as a software engineer, progressively taking on engineering leadership roles at prominent travel and technology companies. Prior to joining Viator, he established and scaled Qualtric’s main European R&D hub, growing it from the ground up to more than 200 engineers in just six years. As part of the Qualtrics senior leadership team, he played a key role in guiding the company through rapid expansion, an IPO, and several acquisitions.

In addition to his role at Viator, Piotr advises startups and companies on building and scaling engineering hubs across Europe. He is based in Krakow, Poland.
