James Owen

James Owen is an experienced professional in the fields of safety, health, environmental quality, and radiation safety. Currently serving as SHEQ Director and previously as SHEQ Manager at Tronox since September 2022, James has extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management, demonstrated during a five-year tenure as HSE Manager and Principal HSE at BHP, and earlier roles including Manager Safety, Environment, Radiation and Hygiene. Additionally, James held the position of Senior Environmental Advisor and Radiation Safety Officer at Tronox from 2007 to 2017. James holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Management from Edith Cowan University.
