Catrien Spijkerman

Catrien Spijkerman is an accomplished freelance journalist and editor with extensive experience across various media platforms. Currently serving as a journalist at Aldus' producties and as a freelance journalist and editor for Trouw and De Groene Amsterdammer since 2009, Catrien's work includes in-depth reporting and background stories. Additionally, Catrien engages in journalistic research with Onderzoekscollectief Spit and has contributed to multiple projects focused on investigative journalism. Previous roles include outsider researcher for Project WAVE and journalist at Bureau Boven. With a Master's degree in Journalism and Media from the University of Amsterdam and a strong academic background in Communication Science, Catrien combines their expertise in journalism with a passion for storytelling.
