Serkan Gur

Serkan Gur is an experienced camera operator, video editor, and director with a diverse background in media production. Currently serving as a camera operator and video editor at TRT World since February 2023, Serkan also holds the position of director at MediaDot Production since August 2017. Previous experience includes freelance camera operation from April 2018 to February 2023 and content editing for daily prime time shows at HaberturkTV from November 2016 to July 2017. Serkan directed the documentary series "SciTech Voyager" for TRT World News Channel from June 2015 to November 2016 and produced and directed various documentaries at Al Jazeera Turk between May 2011 and June 2015, including "The Side Effect" and "The Bridge." Additional roles included producing an arts and culture show at HaberturkTV and serving as a correspondent at 5n 1k, focusing on Turkish politics and international issues. Serkan holds a degree from Istanbul University, obtained between 2002 and 2007.
