Francisco Nunez

Francisco Nunez is a seasoned medical physicist currently serving as a Senior Medical Physicist at TrueNorth Medical Physics since September 2025. Prior experience includes a role as Director of Product Management for Treatment Management Applications at Elekta (August 2020 - September 2025) and serving as Head of Clinical Science in Radiation Oncology for TPS at Philips from May 2013 to August 2020. During tenure at Philips, responsibilities involved conducting research with academic collaborators, testing software for clinical applications, and leading presentations at industry conferences. Earlier roles included Chief Medical Physicist at Vantage Oncology, where management of medical physics strategy and operations was key, and a Vice President position at Global Physics Solutions, overseeing multiple clinics. Francisco began a career in engineering at IBM and served as an undergraduate research assistant at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. Francisco holds a Master of Science degree in Medical Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
