Most recently, they were a Startup Legal Advisor at BR Legal from January 2009 to December 2011.

Prior to joining [Trusted Health](/org/trusted-health), Ms. Putney worked as an Agent Manager at Aira from March 2018 to February 2021. In this role, they managed and mentored a team of 48 remote contractors through monthly performance reviews, payroll and scheduling assessments, and consistent online communication to ensure the highest quality product and employee satisfaction. Ms. Putney also developed contractor hiring, training, and performance management procedures that resulted in an improvement of customer satisfaction scores by 18% over three quarters.

Prior to their work at Aira, Ms. Putney was a Crew Member at [Trader Joe's](/org/trader-joes) from November 2017 to September 2018 and a Server at Morton's The Steakhouse from September 2017 to November 2017. Ms. Putney also taught Spanish as a language professional from September 2013 to January 2014.

Additionally, they mentored and guided junior developers through challenges and questions involving optimization, code architecture & organization, debugging, and automated testing. Lastly, they configured and maintained Unix servers to run client applications, databases, file storage, etc. Prior to their role at SciMed Solutions, Inc., Bailey Griffin worked as a Software Engineering Intern at PowerSecure from March 2017 to June 2017. In this role, they designed a web application using HTML, CSS, and C# to drive ASP.NET on Visual Studio 2017. Matthew has a proven track record in launching and growing companies. Matthew has a passion for making the journey to your next gig or freelancer easier and more delightful than ever before. 

Matthew Pierce launched their career in the staffing industry with [TEKsystems](/org/teksystems) in 2009. Matthew quickly rose through the ranks and became a top consultant, responsible for consulting and aligning [TEKsystems](/org/teksystems) vast offering of services to their clients. In this role, they managed a portfolio of Global Financial Services accounts including [JPMorgan Chase](/org/jpmorgan-chase), [Northern Trust](/org/northern-trust), and [Charles Schwab](/org/charles-schwab).

In 2014, Matthew Pierce founded Pierce Consulting LLC, a boutique staffing and consulting firm specializing in the placement of IT professionals. The company was acquired by [Hired](/org/hired), Inc. in 2017. As GM, Matthew was responsible for launching [Hired](/org/hired) into the world of independent work. 

Matthew Pierce is also a Board Member of The Risk Management Association, where they are responsible for communication of internal and external activities and events for the association, as well as brokering industry relationships and partnerships for the betterment of the organization.

Marcelo also worked on payment processing and tax calculation, developed an internal admin application, and a recommendation engine used to match high level customer wishes to in stock merchandise. In addition, they provisioned and configured their infrastructure and helped take the platform from stealth development to successfully in production generating revenue. Marcelo has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at 140 Proof from October 2013 to October 2016 and at ISSIntel from January 2013 to September 2013.
