Zhaoyuan

ZhaoYuan Ma currently serves as Chief Investigator at 清华大学 since September 2018, focusing on Intelligent Manufacturing, and as a Professor at The University of Sheffield since September 2017. ZhaoYuan Ma has extensive leadership experience as CEO of Smart Data China since November 2012. Prior academic roles include Guest Professor at Peking University and Bairen Professor of Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2009 to 2015, along with visiting positions at the University of Chicago and postdoctoral research at institutions such as UC Berkeley and the Joint Quantum Institute. ZhaoYuan Ma holds a PhD in Atomic and Laser Physics from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Physics from Peking University.
