Eric Hegedus

Eric Hegedus serves as a Professor and Founding Department Chair of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine since 2021. Additionally, Eric holds roles as Professor and Founding Program Director for both the Tufts DPT-Atlanta and Tufts DPY-Phoenix. Prior to Tufts, Eric was a Professor and Chair at High Point University from January 2011 to September 2020 and gained substantial experience at Duke University from 1999 to 2010, where Eric advanced through the ranks to Associate Professor and Vice-Chief of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. Eric’s education includes multiple advanced degrees, including two PhDs from Ulster University and MHSc degrees from Duke University, complemented by a certificate in Strengthening Business Relationships from Harvard.
