Janel Fielding

Janel Fielding has extensive experience in accounting and leadership, currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Tulane University's School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine since 2017, after roles as Accountant III and Accountant II in the School of Medicine and School of Science and Engineering, respectively. Prior to her tenure at Tulane, Janel held the position of President & CEO at Gladiolus Inc from 1997 to 2017 and was Vice President of Circulation & Distribution for New Orleans CityBusiness and New Orleans Magazine from 1985 to 1997. Janel earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Marketing, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies with a minor in Economics, both from Loyola University New Orleans, and graduated with honors from Mount Carmel Academy.
