Michelle Hewlett Sanchez is an accomplished academic and engineer with extensive experience in community engagement and STEM education. Serving as the Associate Dean for Community Engagement and Academic Partnerships and Senior Professor of Practice at Tulane University since July 2012, Michelle Hewlett Sanchez also directs the Center for K-12 STEM Education. Previous roles include positions as a Research Engineer at SRI International and an Instructor/Teaching Assistant at Stanford University. Michelle Hewlett Sanchez holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and has earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering from Tulane University.
