Arun Ravishankar

Arun Ravishankar is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in leveraging data for strategic initiatives. Currently serving as a Marketplace Data Scientist at Turno since September 2024, Arun previously held the position of Data Scientist III at Rover.com from November 2021 to October 2024, where key projects included developing automated time series forecasting and Markov chain models. Arun's academic background includes a PhD in Physics from the University of Arizona, where research focused on the instability of black hole event horizons. Additionally, Arun has experience in teaching and content production, co-founding a startup to enhance learning methodologies, and produced educational content for diverse audiences. Arun holds multiple degrees in Physics and Mathematics from esteemed institutions, including Birla Institute of Technology and Science and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
