Tanvee Sawant

Tanvee Sawant is an experienced project manager and scientist with a robust background in biotechnology and immunology. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Twist Bioscience since May 2023, Tanvee previously held project management positions at Hengenix Biotech, Inc., and ASC Therapeutics, where responsibilities included overseeing preclinical development. Tanvee’s early career includes roles as an Associate Scientist at SutroVax Inc. and BioPharmX, as well as research experience at Dr. Gao's Lab and the Haffkine Institute. Tanvee completed a Master of Science in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from the Keck School of Medicine of USC and holds a Certificate in Biotechnology Project Management from the University of Washington. Research interests focus on KSHV-cell interactions, viral replication, and innate immune responses.
