Associate Brand Strategist - Twitter Next

Twitter is a social networking platform that allows its users to send and read micro-blogs of up to 280-characters known as tweets.

The Position

You will sit on the creative powerhouse team called Twitter Next, an indispensable part of the sales organization. This unique group balances the responsibility of exploring the realm of creative possibility while driving revenue. You will be dedicated to driving business through both creative and strategic thinking and outputs. You will leverage your experience as a marketer and thought leader to oversee all elements of the strategic and creative process from data analysis to insight development to ideation to pitch through execution. This role involves working directly with teams within Twitter Next as well as across Twitter (Sales, Research, Content Partnerships).

You will be the point person for how to creatively drive the business forward - both through work directly tied to your accounts as well as through scaled initiatives that add value across the org. Your ability to tap into your business understanding behind the scenes will be as important as your ability to “stand and deliver” presentations to C-Level audiences.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who can light up a room as a storyteller, bring collaborative energy to a variety of settings, and drive to do what’s best for our clients and Twitter’s business. You know how to effectively manage your time, keep projects on track with hard deadlines, work in cross-functional environments, and be an excellent partner to both internal and external teams.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • 3+ years experience in digital media and marketing at an ad agency, on the client-side, at a tech company/platform, or with a media company (multi-disciplinary experience preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of Twitter - as both a user and as a marketer, including a deep understanding of our platform’s promoted products and overall advertising model
  • Experience leading and managing clients and accounts
  • Experience building creative digital media and sponsorship programs at scale that drive brand awareness and high user engagement
