Kathleen Reen

Kathleen Reen is the current Senior Director of Public Policy & Philanthropy - APAC at Twitter. Kathleen has over 20 years of experience in the media development sector. Kathleen started their career at Internews Network in 1999 as the Regional Director for SE Asia. In 2005, they became the Director of the Global Forum for Media Development, and in 2006, they returned to Internews Network as the VP ICT Programs & Policy. In 2013, they became the VP Asia, Environment & New Media Progs at Internews. Kathleen has been with Twitter since 2017.

Kathleen Reen has a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Charles Sturt University. Kathleen is currently a Fellow at the Shorenstein Center at Harvard Kennedy School, where they research international internet policy, digital & mobile media/tech.
