Michelle Gandy

Michelle Gandy is an experienced education professional with a focus on mathematics, currently serving as the Coordinator of PK-12 Mathematics at Tyler ISD since August 2008. Throughout the tenure at Tyler ISD, Michelle has held several positions, including Secondary Mathematics Coordinator, Facilitator K-12 Mathematics, and Campus Instructional Specialist at Dogan Middle School. Michelle's background includes contributions as an Independent Contractor for Mentoring Minds LP and The National Math and Science Initiative, as well as authorship for the Region 7 DMAC test bank. Early career experience involved teaching various math courses at Longview ISD, Tyler ISD, Sabine ISD, and Athens ISD. Michelle holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Tyler, along with an Associate of Arts from Tyler Junior College.
