Frank Harrison

Lecturer In Mathematics at Tyne Metropolitan College

Frank Harrison is currently a Lecturer in Mathematics at Tyne Metropolitan College since September 2022. Previously, Frank served as a Data Controller at Eurostat from March 1997 to May 1999, where a database was created to support negotiations for the entry of five central and eastern European countries into the European Community. Frank's experience also includes working as a Data Scientist at United Glass from October 1993 to February 1997, focusing on quality data analysis and problem-solving, and as a Quality Engineer at IEP Airfoils in 1993, introducing statistical process control. Early career roles include Manufacturing Engineer at Safeway Engineering from October 1991 to April 1993, involved in tool manufacturing and certification. Frank holds a Post Graduate Certificate of Education in Mathematics from the University of Sunderland, a Master of Science in Quality Engineering from Newcastle University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Leeds.
