Jason Nichol

Chief Customer Officer at Tyson Foods

Jason Nichol joined Tyson Foods in 2014 following the acquisition of The Hillshire Brands Company where he was responsible for the Walmart business. In March 2016, Jason assumed the role of senior vice president, Walmart, leading all aspects of Tyson’s business with Walmart. He was named Chief Customer Officer in February 2021.

A member of Tyson Foods’ enterprise leadership team, Jason reports to President & CEO Donnie King.

Jason is responsible for a team of more than 850 professionals dedicated to serving Tyson Foods customers. Together, they develop business strategy and growth plans with national restaurant and grocery chains, broad line distributors, school lunch programs, membership clubs, dollar stores, convenience stores and non-commercial outlets where the company’s products are sold.

Jason is skilled in developing joint business plans with Tyson Foods customers designed to promote growth for both companies. His team’s expertise includes e-commerce, consumer insights and trends, category leadership platforms, in-store demand creation through customer marketing and product development with customers in all channels.

Jason has 20 years of consumer packaged goods experience developed through positions with Nabisco, Cott Beverages, and Scotts Miracle-Gro.

He is a member of the board of directors and chair of the development council for The Jones Center, a nonprofit youth development center based in Springdale, Arkansas.
