Jeremy Kemp

Jeremy Kemp is an experienced attorney currently serving as a legislative attorney at the USDA since June 2023, providing legal advice primarily on environmental matters. Previously, Jeremy worked as a Government Relations Representative for The Wilderness Society and held the position of Federal Policy Fellow at the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. As Editor-in-Chief of the Virginia Environmental Law Journal and a legal intern at the Sierra Club and U.S. House of Representatives, Jeremy developed strong advocacy and policy analysis skills. Jeremy's background includes tutoring LSAT students and leading youth outdoor activities as a counselor and trip leader. Jeremy holds a Doctor of Law degree with a focus on Environmental Law from the University of Virginia School of Law and dual Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Thought & Practice and Environmental Science from the University of Virginia.
