Anthony Coley

Anthony Coley is the current Director of Office of Public Affairs at Department of Justice. Prior to this, they were a Founding Partner at Corner Office Strategies from February 2020 to February 2021. Before that, they worked as EVP and Managing Director (Communications) & Senior Advisor to the President and CEO at Managed Funds Association from January 2015 to February 2020.

From July 2011 to January 2015, Anthony Coley served as Deputy Assistant Secretary, Public Affairs at U.S. Treasury. Anthony then worked as Director at Brunswick Group from November 2009 to June 2011. From January 2006 to December 2008, they were Communications Director at State of New Jersey.

In 2008, Anthony Coley served as Senior Advisor for Communications for Sen. Jon S. Corzine. Anthony was also Communications Director for Kerry Edwards 2004 Inc from January 2004 to December 2004. From January 2003 to December 2004, they served as Communications Director for Sen. Zell Miller.

Anthony Coley received their B.A. in Business Administration from Morehouse College and their M.A. in Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University.

They are on a team with Tracy Toulou - Director, Office of Tribal Justice, Helaine Greenfeld - Acting Assistant Attorney General, and Claire McCusker Murray - Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General. Anthony Coley reports to Merrick B. Garland, Attorney General.
