Emy López

Emy López is a dedicated professional currently serving as the Acting Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Justice. With extensive experience in access to justice initiatives, Emy previously worked as an Access to Justice Consultant and Project Coordinator, supporting the National Center for State Courts’ Justice for All Initiative. They spent over a decade at the Colorado Judicial Department as the Language Access Administrator, where they developed and implemented statewide language access policies. Emy has also contributed to education as a bilingual elementary school teacher and has held leadership roles at the Colorado Bar Association.
