Chris Pilkerton

Chris Pilkerton is currently serving as the Acting General Counsel and Counselor to the Secretary at the U.S. Department of the Treasury since January 2025. Additionally, Chris holds the position of Executive in Residence at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, where Chris co-founded the Small Business Corps. Previously, Chris was the Chief Legal and Regulatory Strategy Officer at Accion Opportunity Fund and has experience as a Research Advisor at Brown University, focusing on artificial intelligence's impact on small businesses. Chris has also served as an Adjunct Faculty member at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School and Harvard Kennedy School, as well as a WH Senior Policy Advisor at The White House. Educational credentials include an MPA in International Economics from Columbia SIPA, a JD from The Catholic University of America, and a BA from Fairfield University, among other qualifications.
