Steven E. Seitz

Steven E. Seitz currently serves as the Director of the Federal Insurance Office at the U.S. Department of the Treasury since February 2019, having also held the position of Deputy Director at the same office from 2014. Prior to his roles at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Steven E. Seitz worked as part of the Office of the Assistant General Counsel in Banking and Finance from 2013 to 2014 and served as Counsel at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission from 2010 to 2013. Steven E. Seitz holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Chicago Law School, obtained between 2002 and 2005, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Government from Cornell University, completed in 2002.
