Miguel Navarro

Miguel Navarro, BSN, RN-BC, is an experienced nursing professional specializing in mental health and caregiver support. Since September 2015, Miguel has served as a Caregiver Support Coordinator RN and Mental Health BSN RN BC at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Additionally, Miguel has been a Registered Nurse in Mental/Behavioral Health at Río Grande State Center Inpatient Hospital since March 2014. Previous roles include Hospice RN at Only Love and Charge Nurse at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance Health System's Mental Health Acute Inpatient Hospital. Prior to a nursing career, Miguel worked in law enforcement as a Border Patrol Agent and managed production at Redbird Industries, demonstrating strong organizational and management skills. Miguel earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Brownsville and holds multiple associate degrees from South Texas College.
