Andy Barr

Andy Barr has served as a U.S. Congressman since January 2013, representing the interests of constituents at the federal level. Prior to this role, Barr accumulated extensive legal experience, including positions as an attorney with Miller Wells PLLC and Kinkead & Stilz, PLLC, and as Deputy General Counsel in the Office of the Governor. Additionally, Barr held roles as General Counsel for the Governor's Office for Local Development and Special Assistant to the Governor. Barr began a legal career as an associate at Stites & Harbison, PLLC, focusing on torts and insurance and business litigation. Barr earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Philosophy from the University of Virginia.
