Joel Miller currently serves as a Legislative Assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives, where responsibilities include leading efforts on technology, internet policies, artificial intelligence, consumer protection, data privacy, tax, trade, commerce, financial services, and labor, alongside supporting the Congressman’s work on the House Judiciary Committee and immigration. Previous roles include Legislative Aide, Legislative Correspondent, Staff Assistant, and Legislative Intern. Prior to this, Joel held the position of Learning Assistant at Michigan State University for a course on Judicial Politics and worked as a Research Assistant for a PhD candidate studying Judicial Behavior at the federal circuit court level. Joel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science Pre-law from Michigan State University and is currently pursuing a Public Policy Certificate from The Wharton School.
