Deborah Dishong

VP & Chief Accounting Officer at U.S. Silica

Deborah Dishong is the current Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at U.S. Silica. Deborah has been with the company since April of 2013, and in their current role they are responsible for ensuring financial reporting compliance of U.S. Silica with US GAAP and SEC requirements. This includes providing technical accounting policy, 10-Q/10-K filings, and corporate level financial reporting. Deborah is also a member of the corporate Extended Leadership Team (ELT) and reports directly to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Prior to their current role, Deborah served as the Director of Finance at Ossur where they were responsible for conducting mergers & acquisitions activities and managing a portfolio of equity investment companies. During their time at Ossur, they closed three deals and drove business results through a combination of financial management, operational management, strategic initiatives, and governance compliance. Deborah was also selected as a member of OssurNEXT (Nurturing EXecutive Talent) leadership program.

Deborah Dishong holds a MA in Accounting from Virginia Tech and a BA in Accounting from Cedarville University. Deborah is also certified as a Certified Management Accountant from the Institute of Management Accountants and as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Delaware.

Deborah Dishong reports to Bryan Shinn, CEO. They work with Derek Ussery - EVP & President, Oil & Gas, Stacy Russell - SVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, and W. Andrew Macan - SVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary.
