Melanie Wood

Melanie Wood is currently a Professor of Mathematics at Harvard University and a Chancellor's Professor of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley. From 2009 to 2011, they served as the Szego Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Stanford University. Wood previously held the position of Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2017 to 2019 and was a Five Year Fellow at the American Institute of Mathematics from 2009 to 2017. They earned a PhD in Mathematics from Princeton University and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
