Meryl Motika

Meryl Motika is a seasoned professional in educational analytics and institutional research, currently serving as a Student Affairs Assessment and Institutional Research Analyst at the University of California, Berkeley since January 2023. Previously, Motika held the position of Associate Director of Educational Analytics at the University of California, Davis, leading the Educational Analytics unit in Undergraduate Education from July 2022 to January 2023. Experience also includes serving as Lead Analyst at the Center for Educational Effectiveness at UC Davis from January 2017 to June 2022 and as Interim Associate Director for Educational Analytics and Assessment during 2019-2021. Meryl Motika's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Economics from UC Irvine and a BA in Public Policy Analysis, Economics, and Music from Pomona College. Teaching experience encompasses a role as Assistant Professor at St. Lawrence University, where courses focused on intermediate microeconomics and behavioral economics were designed and taught.
