Kristin Grimsrud

Kristin Grimsrud currently serves as the Neil Reitman Pediatric Burn Endowed Professor at Shriners Children's Northern California since January 2025 and as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of California, Davis since July 2023. With extensive experience in veterinary medicine, Kristin has been the Practice Owner at ANDTI Veterinary Services since May 2013 and has held the role of Associate Director of Vivaria and Veterinary Care at the UC Davis Mouse Biology Program since October 2015. Prior positions include Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UC Davis from July 2017 to June 2023, Post Doctoral Scholar in the Department of Surgery from June 2014 to October 2015, and Laboratory Animal Medicine Resident and Veterinarian at UC Davis from June 2011 to June 2014. Kristin's academic credentials include a PhD in Pharmacology/Toxicology and a DVM from the University of California, Davis, complemented by earlier studies in Zoology/Animal Biology and Mathematics and Science.
