Swati Parmar

Swati Parmar, PhD, serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Davis, focusing on 2D materials and thin films for THz and IR sources since August 2022. Previously, Swati held positions as a Senior Researcher and Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, where work involved thin film fabrication through pulsed laser deposition, as well as optoelectronic device fabrication including perovskite solar cells and photodetectors from April 2017. At Savitribai Phule Pune University, Swati also contributed as a Senior Research Fellow while pursuing a PhD, engaging in thin film fabrication for varied applications. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Assistant at the National Chemical Laboratory, focusing on the fabrication of fourth-generation perovskite solar cells from October 2015 to March 2017. Swati holds a Master of Technology in Nanotechnology from the Vellore Institute of Technology, obtained between 2013 and 2015.
