Tushar Garg is a skilled researcher with a strong background in plant developmental biology. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, Davis, Tushar focuses on the characterization of epigenetic marks in plant female gametes and zygotes. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at The University of Texas at Austin, concentrating on stomata development in Arabidopsis, and a Doctoral Student position at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where Tushar identified and functionally analyzed key regulators in rice crown root development. Tushar has also contributed as a Teaching Assistant for the "Plant Developmental Biology" course at NPTEL, as well as a Student Researcher at Delhi University, studying plant-microbe interactions. Tushar holds a PhD in Plant Developmental Biology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, a Master's degree in Botany from Delhi University, and a Bachelor's degree in Botany/Plant Biology from Hans Raj College.
