Tyler Munger

Tyler Munger is an accomplished data science professional and academic, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Teaching at the University of California, Santa Cruz since September 2025. Prior experience includes roles such as Vice President of Analytics Global Operations at Rimini Street, where Tyler was responsible for data strategy and internal data projects, and Senior Data Scientist at REX, where Tyler focused on enhancing sales operations through analytics. Tyler's consulting background includes serving as a Data Scientist at Munger Consulting and Principal Data Scientist at Chobanian Group, managing diverse teams and engaging with high-profile clients. Earlier academic experience includes teaching at UC Santa Cruz as a Lecturer-In and research as a Graduate Student Researcher at Cisco. Tyler holds a Ph.D. in Technology and Information Management, along with a Master's and Bachelor's Degree from the same institution.
