James Slusher

National VDC Director

James Slusher, Jr., PE, currently serves as the National VDC Director at Universal Engineering Sciences, where James leads the Virtual Design Consulting group focused on integrating Subsurface and Building Information Models (SIM/BIM). With extensive experience in advanced geophysical techniques and underground modeling, Slusher previously held leadership positions at Intertek as a Senior Director for Global Advanced Geophysical and Underground Digital-Twin services, and at Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI) as Director for the Southeast U.S., overseeing operations in multiple states. Slusher co-founded KSV Group and served as President until its acquisition by Intertek-PSI. Additionally, Slusher was Vice President at ECS Carolinas, LLP, and began as a Project Engineer at ECS headquarters. Academic credentials include an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas, an MBA in Management from Wake Forest University, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Radford University.
