Sheely Edwards

Sheely Edwards is a skilled labor organizer currently serving in the Digital Department at UFCW since June 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a Communications Associate and IJ United Organizer at Impact Justice, as well as positions in various editorial capacities at The Daily Utah Chronicle, where leadership included managing a team of over 80 contributors and producing extensive content on labor and politics. Edwards has also held research and editorial roles at the Hinckley Institute of Politics and the Utah House of Representatives, demonstrating a strong commitment to political engagement and communications. With dual bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Utah and a Master of Science in Labor Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Edwards has received multiple accolades in journalism and student leadership.
