Prof. Elie Al Asmar currently serves as a Professor of International Humanitarian Law and International Criminal Law at Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III), where also leads the jury for evaluating Master's dissertations in Internal Security. Additional roles include being an Accredited Trainer at INTERPOL and heading the Research and Studies Division at ISF, where topics such as gender in humanitarian settings are explored. Prof. Al Asmar has extensive experience in human trafficking expertise, noted in positions with UNODC and previously held roles at INTERPOL and the Judiciary Police of ISF. Academic involvement encompasses lecturing at several universities, including Saint Joseph University of Beirut and Sagesse University. With a strong educational background, including a PhD in Law from Université Toulouse 1 Capitole and a Master's in Law, Economics, Management, Diplomacy, and Strategic Negotiations from Paris-Sud University, Prof. Al Asmar combines academic rigor with practical experience in law and security management.
