Christopher Steele

Vice Provost, Division of Professional Studies at UMBC

Christopher Steele is currently the Vice Provost Division of Professional Studies at UMBC. Christopher has previous experience working as a physician at Johns Hopkins Hospital from July 2015 to June 2018.

Christopher Steele attended Fairfield University for their undergraduate degree, where they studied chemistry. Christopher then went on to Georgetown University for their master's degree in physiology. Next, they attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine for their doctor of medicine degree. Finally, they completed a residency in internal medicine at The Johns Hopkins University.

They work with Katharine Cole - Vice Provost and Dean Undergraduate Academic Affairs, Keith Bowman - Dean College of Engineering & Information Technology, and Scott Casper - Dean College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences. Their manager is Philip Rous, Provost & Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs.
