Anna Stefanopoulou

Anna Stefanopoulou is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, where Anna has held various academic positions since September 2000, including the William Clay Ford Professor of Technology and Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering. From 2018 to 2020, Anna served as the Director of the Energy Institute, which focuses on innovative research in energy solutions for the automotive and manufacturing sectors. Prior to this role, Anna was the Director of the Automotive Research Center from 2009 to 2018 and worked as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Environmental Engineering at UC Santa Barbara from 1998 to 2000.
